Embracing Arms

Embracing Arms is founded by two sisters who want to help change the narrative around disability work. Despite being seen as a job to many, we see it as a privilege to help enrich the lives of each individual by empowering their abilities. This stems from our own personal experience of having two brothers who were diagnosed with autism and an intellectual disability. Navigating through the challenges of finding the right support services to cater to our brother’s needs, has helped us understand what is required in providing adequate care. Throughout the past 18 years, we have acquired a wealth of knowledge and have a desire to initiate change in this industry.

 

At Embracing Arms, our focus is on building meaningful relationships with our participants and their families. We believe in creating a supportive environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered. We work closely with families, caregivers and healthcare professionals to develop customised care plans that promotes independence. At Embracing Arms, we are committed to making a difference. We are passionate about what we do, and we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those that we serve.
