Our Services:

Community Participation

Community participation means supporting participants to join social, recreational, or community activities. We tailor each experience to the participant’s interests, comfort, and goals, ensuring they stay engaged and confident. For example, this may include attending a local event, joining a class, or exploring community spaces together.

Daily Living Assistance

Daily living assistance means helping participants with everyday routines such as meal preparation, organisation, and personal daily tasks. We follow each person’s preferred way of doing things and encourage independence wherever possible. This might look like supporting morning routines or helping prepare healthy meals.

Household Tasks

Household tasks involve assisting participants in keeping their homes clean, safe, and comfortable. We work at each participant’s pace and respect their choices about how tasks are completed. This can include helping with laundry, vacuuming, or keeping living spaces organised.

Travel & Transport Support

Travel and transport support means helping participants travel safely to appointments, work, or community activities. We plan trips that suit each person's schedule, mobility needs, and comfort. Examples include driving participants to medical appointments or supporting them on public transport.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living provides daily assistance for participants living independently or in shared homes. We create personalised support plans based on their goals, routines, and the level of independence they want to build. This can include help with cooking, budgeting, or learning new life skills.

Short‑Term Accommodation (STA) / Respite

Short‑Term Accommodation offers temporary stays that provide rest, routine changes, or support for families. We personalise each stay to match the participant’s needs, interests, and comfort. This may include planned outings, personalised meals, and activities that make the stay enjoyable and meaningful.

Personal Care

Personal care means supporting participants with hygiene, grooming, and mobility needs in a safe and respectful way. We prioritise dignity, privacy, and personal choice at every step. Examples include assistance with showering, dressing, or using mobility aids.

Social & Recreational Activities

Social and recreational support helps participants engage in enjoyable hobbies and leisure activities. We shape each activity around what the participant loves and what brings them joy. This could involve going to the movies, gardening, playing a sport, or trying new hobbies.

Support Coordination Level 2

Support Coordination Level 2 helps participants understand their NDIS plan and connect with the right services. We take a person‑centred approach by tailoring support to the participant’s goals and helping them build the skills to manage their own supports.

Support Coordination Level 3 (Specialist)

Specialist Support Coordination assists participants with more complex needs by coordinating multiple services and addressing barriers. We provide personalised, solutions‑focused support to stabilise situations and help participants achieve their goals.

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching supports participants with psychosocial disabilities to build independence and resilience. We use a strengths‑based, person‑centred approach to help participants set goals, develop routines, and connect with mental health and community supports.

At Better Think Support Services, we value dignity, respect, and inclusion, providing compassionate and professional care for people of all abilities. Our mission is to create opportunities, build confidence, and support personal growth across South Australia.
