What is a Key Worker?
An NDIS Key Worker is a central support figure for children up to nine years old accessing the NDIS. They work closely with families and caregivers to help children achieve their goals while also coordinating and strengthening their support team.
Key Workers are qualified professionals, such as Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, or Early Childhood Educators, with specialized training in early childhood support. As your child's primary therapist, they will be your main point of contact throughout the journey.

Is a Key Worker covered in my NDIS Plan?
If you have a child up to nine years old and need support from a Disability Key Worker, you may be eligible for funding through the NDIS Early Childhood Approach. Key Worker services are included under the Capacity Building support category in your NDIS plan.
How does Karista work?

Our Client Services team are experienced in finding and connecting NDIS and Aged Care (HCP & SAH) participants to supports with availability.

The Karista Client Services team will connect you with Providers that meet your needs and have capacity.

Karista will then complete the paperwork (with your consent) so you can spend less time on admin and more time on the things that matter.

I went onto the website and put in my information, within two minutes I had a phone call. I spoke to Ellen who was absolutely lovely and did a fantastic job explaining everything I needed to know and making me feel calm in a situation I've never had to navigate before. Definitely recommend this company (and the happy Ellen) to any parent/person who's looking for help in a plan manager.
