About

ACDCForYou is a digital design and creative marketing organisation built specifically for neurodivergent young people. We provide a place where artists, designers, musicians, writers, content creators, illustrators, and digital storytellers can develop their skills, express their identity, and build meaningful employment pathways. Our programs are designed for participants aged 17 to 30 who think differently, learn differently, and create differently, young people who have often struggled to find a space where their creativity is valued and their neurotype is understood. At ACDCForYou, digital creativity is not an add‑on; it is the foundation of everything we do.

We specialise in supporting early school leavers, autistic and ADHD young people, and individuals with psychosocial disability who have not thrived in mainstream employment services. Many of our participants arrive feeling misunderstood or underestimated, yet they possess extraordinary strengths in visual communication, storytelling, music, design, and digital expression. Our programs are built to honour these strengths and provide a pathway into real, sustainable, supported employment. We create environments that are predictable, sensory‑aware, trauma‑informed, and deeply respectful of each participant’s communication style and learning needs.

Our flagship program, Inclusive Futures, offers a supported employment and creative digital pathway unlike any other in Australia. Participants begin with a gentle, structured pre‑employment phase designed specifically for neurodivergent learners. This stage helps them understand themselves, build confidence, and develop the foundational capabilities needed to transition into work at a pace that feels safe and achievable. Once participants feel ready, they have the choice to progress into supported employment, a choice that is entirely theirs, never pressured or assumed.

What sets our supported employment program apart is that it operates with the same dignity, fairness, and respect as any mainstream workplace. Participants who choose to become employees are hired under modern award wages at Level 1, Pay Point 1, not trainee or apprenticeship rates. They receive superannuation and pro‑rata accrued leave entitlements, reflecting our belief that neurodivergent workers deserve the same rights, protections, and recognition as any other employee. We do not operate day program workshops or tokenistic employment models. Our employees are treated as valued contributors whose creativity and individuality strengthen our organisation. They are encouraged to work in ways that align with their neurotype, and we place no limitations on what they can achieve.

Within supported employment, participants work on real digital design and marketing projects for community organisations, small businesses, and partner agencies. They develop practical skills in branding, content creation, social media, photography, videography, copywriting, and digital storytelling. They build a professional portfolio that reflects their growth, identity, and creative voice. For many, this is the first time they have been able to see themselves as capable, talented, and employable. The experience often becomes a turning point, a moment where they begin to imagine a future that feels possible.

To support participants in securing the right NDIS funding for their employment journey, we provide Extensive NDIS Employment Assessments. These assessments are detailed, evidence‑based, and tailored to each individual’s strengths, challenges, and long‑term goals. They explore functional capacity, workplace readiness, sensory and cognitive needs, environmental supports, and the participant’s preferred employment pathway. Our assessments are frequently used to support applications for increased funding under Finding and Keeping a Job, School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES), Lifelong Learning. For many participants, this assessment is the first time their needs have been properly understood and documented in a way that leads to meaningful support.

Our programs are particularly valuable for young people who have disengaged from school, struggled with traditional employment services, or experienced anxiety, burnout, or trauma in previous learning or work environments. We understand that many neurodivergent young people have been told they are “not ready” for work, when in reality they simply need the right environment, the right support, and the right pathway. ACDCForYou provides that pathway by combining creativity, structure, and neuro‑affirming practice in a way that feels safe, empowering, and achievable.

Support Coordinators, LACs, Plan Managers, and third‑party providers refer to us because we specialise in the youth neuro cohort and because our programs consistently re‑engage participants who have struggled elsewhere. We offer predictable routines, flexible delivery, and a coaching style that respects autonomy and individuality. Our team collaborates closely with families, allied health professionals, and support networks to ensure each participant receives the right level of support at the right time. We are known for our high‑quality documentation, our participant‑centred approach, and our ability to create real, measurable outcomes.

Participants who join ACDCForYou often describe the experience as the first time they have felt understood, supported, and genuinely hopeful about their future. They gain confidence, build identity, develop creative and digital skills, and discover pathways that align with their strengths. Whether they dream of working in digital marketing, becoming a freelance artist, building a YouTube channel, writing professionally, or simply finding a workplace that respects their neurotype, we help them take the next step with clarity and support.

ACDCForYou is more than an employment program. It is a creative community where neurodivergent young people can explore their identity, build their skills, and shape a future that reflects who they are. We believe in their potential, we honour their differences, and we walk alongside them as they build a life that feels meaningful, achievable, and authentically theirs.

My son joined A**** a few months ago, he has learnt so much about himself and how to adapt at work in various situations. He is spending more time out of him room and talking with the family at dinner about what he has learnt and in a month he will join the supported employment program and this will be the first time he has had paid employment that is meaningful and tailored to him. We highly recommend A****!

Since joining the inclusive employment program, my young person has shown more motivation, confidence and continues leaning to develop his independence. I am grateful that the team is supportive and willing to work together to meet individuals unique needs. It is more than just work experience. They are valued, respected, appreciated as individuals and given real life opportunities. I highly recommend this service.

Because I work for this company, some of the questions felt odd (such as the question about the service being good value for money).
