About
Kids At Max - Psychology, Speech Pathology & Occupational Therapy
Kids At Max is a multidisciplinary child and adolescent clinic in Bentleigh East, supporting children, teenagers and families through psychology, speech pathology and occupational therapy services.
Families come to Kids At Max when they want evidence based and individualised support for their children. Our practitioners take time to understand each child’s strengths, challenges, personality, developmental needs and everyday environments. We work with parents, carers, teachers and other professionals so that therapy goals are practical and meaningful.
Our approach is warm, collaborative and evidence-informed. Sessions are designed to help children feel safe, engaged and supported, while giving families clear strategies they can use between appointments. Where a child needs support across more than one area, our psychologists, speech pathologists and occupational therapists can collaborate to create a joint therapy plan.
Funding options include NDIS, Medicare, Private Health Insurance and TAC.
How We Can Help
1. Contact Kids At Max to discuss your child’s needs.
Families can call us to talk through their concerns and find out which service may be the best starting point.
2. Meet with the most suitable practitioner for an assessment or initial consultation.
Your child may see a psychologist, speech pathologist or occupational therapist depending on the area of concern. We take time to understand your child’s development, current skills, challenges, goals and the settings where support is needed.
3. Receive a tailored therapy, assessment or support plan.
We develop goals with the family and provide practical strategies that can be used at home, school and in daily routines. Therapy may include play-based activities, structured skill-building, parent coaching, school collaboration and recommendations for ongoing support.
