About Ubuntu Support Services
Ubuntu Support Services is a Perth-based NDIS provider specialising in mental health and psychosocial disability support. Founded on the African philosophy of Ubuntu "I am because we are" we deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support that empowers individuals living with psychosocial disabilities and mental health conditions. We believe recovery doesn't happen in isolation, but within relationships, community, and genuine human connection.

The Ubuntu Studio (Community Participation & Skill Development and Capacity Building) The Ubuntu Studio is a warm, welcoming creative space where participants come together to connect, create, and grow. From pottery and painting to craft, mixed media, and many more hands-on activities, every session is guided by friendly support workers who encourage at a pace that suits everyone — no experience needed, just a willingness to give it a go. Grounded in our belief that "I am because we are," the Studio is as much about the chats, laughs, and friendships formed around the table as it is about the artwork itself.
Our Approach
Our work is grounded in trauma-informed principles — safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. Our staff are trained in mental health first aid, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented practice, supporting participants experiencing a range of conditions including anxiety, depression, and PTSD. We provide support with medication management, health monitoring, crisis planning, and safety strategies always with dignity, always with care.
Our Values
Community — We believe in the power of belonging.
Respect — We honour the dignity, choices, and cultural identity of every individual.
Empowerment — We walk alongside participants to build capacity and confidence, never dependence.
Excellence — We maintain the highest standards of care, always striving to do better.

J**** only started with U**** last month, but the quality of the support workers has already stood out. They're engaged, patient, and great at getting him out into the community and building his social confidence. As a parent, seeing him look forward to his shifts says everything. Happy to recommend the team.
